AliExpress – login problem solution

How to Resolve the AliExpress Login Issue: A Step-by-Step Guide

If you’ve ever experienced difficulties logging into your AliExpress account, you’re not alone. Recently, I encountered a peculiar issue: after entering my email address on the login form, the system would redirect me to the registration page, prompting me to create a new account. After some troubleshooting, I found a solution that worked perfectly. In this article, I’ll share the steps I took to resolve the problem and successfully log into my AliExpress account.

Step 1: Identify the Issue

The first step was to understand the nature of the problem. Each time I tried to log in with my existing email, AliExpress redirected me to the registration page. It seemed as if the platform didn’t recognize my email as being associated with an existing account.

Step 2: Switch to a Different Email

To work around this issue, I decided to switch the email associated with my AliExpress account to my Gmail account. Here’s how I did it:

  1. Access AliExpress Account Settings:
    • First, I needed to access my account settings. Since I couldn’t log in directly, I had to use AliExpress mobile app.
  2. Change Email Address:
    • Once logged in, I navigated to the account settings and found the option to change my email address.
    • I entered my Gmail address as the new email and confirmed the change. AliExpress sent a verification email to my Gmail account, which I confirmed to finalize the switch.

Step 3: Log in with Google Account

With the email address successfully changed to my Gmail, the next step was to log in using my Google account:

  1. Go to the AliExpress Login Page:
    • On the AliExpress login page, I selected the option to log in with a Google account.
  2. Merge Accounts:
    • After selecting the Google login option, AliExpress detected that my Gmail address was now associated with an existing account.
    • The platform prompted me to merge the accounts, which I accepted.

Step 4: Successful Login

Once the accounts were merged, I could log into my AliExpress account without any issues using my Google account. This workaround not only resolved the login issue but also streamlined the login process by linking it to my Google account.

Conclusion

Facing login issues on AliExpress can be frustrating, especially when it seems like there’s no clear solution. By switching the associated email to a Gmail account and using the Google login feature, I was able to bypass the registration redirection problem and successfully access my account. If you’re experiencing similar issues, I hope this step-by-step guide helps you resolve them quickly.
