Sometimes you need to know exactly what AP your windows device is connected to for example if you are tuning your multi-AP network where many AP got the same SSID.
The value what are you looking for is named BSSID.
Windows
At Windows you need to open command line (Win+R and type cmd enter)
netsh wlan show interfaces
macOS
Hold the option key while clicking the WiFi icon in the upper right corner. BSSID will be listed in drop-down menu.
